Transportation Info
Pier-2 is located at between Metro Orange line O2 and O1. If you take the Metro Red line, you may need to transfer to the Orange line at R10(O5) and head to Sizihwan.
Attraction Introduction
Pier-2 Art Center is a space connect to art, culture, and history. Consisting of three area which is makeup by some old storages. I'm living in Kaohsiung city, and Pier-2 is my favorite attraction of all. How come is it? Cause it is a live attraction, if you visit it at different times, you may see different scenery could be different public artwork or space improvement.
What I'm showing you from this subject picture is an example of a creative artwork, named Music or Chairs, which is consisting of 1137 chairs just been created in recently. From the outside, it looks like an upside down bowl structure. Going and Sitting inside makes me thought about when I was studying in elementary school.
Come to Kaohsiung and visit Pier-2 Art Center, find the stories happened between art, city and local.
